We are delighted to announce the successful applicants for Round One of MWCT's 2026 granting programme — the first full round since our transformation into an investment-driven community funder in 2025. The $720,000 distributed this round is more than three times our previous highest single-year total of $230,000 (2019). Two grant types were available: a Legacy Grant for high-impact projects ($360,000 pool) and a General Grant for ongoing community needs ($360,000 pool). We received 99 applications in total and are proud to support 39 organisations across Tāmaki Makaurau.
