Granting
The amount available to grant annually comes from the Withdrawals Policy in the SIPO document which is available to view below.
MWCT intends to operate two granting rounds each year, with the total split evenly between the two rounds.
The MWCT approach is simple - organisations doing great work in the community know best what their needs are, so there are no hard and fast rules around what support may be applied for. Instead, MWCT want to know how that support will lead to impact in the community.
Multi-year grants will be considered, though applicants should illustrate a multi-year project plan with clear phases and milestones.
Criteria and Application
The two key criteria to be met to be eligible to submit an application to MWCT are:
Benefit residents of the Mount Wellington Licensing Trust area
Meet one or more purposes of the Mount Wellington Charitable Trust Deed
Further application criteria are available in the FAQ document, that may be updated from time to time.
